Puffy

This winter I built a small house to feed birds close to the window in our living room. My hope was that the kids can watch them through the window without scaring the birds away too easily. It took a while for the birds to find and accept the new source of seeds, but now we get bustling activity right in front of our window nearly every day. When I get up in the morning though, it's usually just a lonely bird enjoying the calm like the puffy siskin above.
