Moonlit Hechlstein Western Ridge

The western ridge towards Hechlstein is a favorite of mine and I've enjoyed it during hot summer days, cold spring evenings with firn and during cool evenings close to sunset. Last week I added "moonlit" and "slightly-past-sunset" to my list 😁. I used to do a loop, but I really enjoy the scramble eastward towards the ridge and then the view west on the way back is at least as rewarding:
